Merida was surrendered by her family at 18 years of age. They said they didn’t want her any longer and if the shelter wouldn’t take her they would dump her in the country. Merida is deaf and has limited sight! She wouldn’t have made it on her own. Her story broke our heart and we said yes to giving her one last chance!
